Have been pccupied with my Zhenghua Sports Carnival. The list of things to buy are never-ending but at least I'm having fun. First time doing logistics so its quite an experience for me.
I think I've mentioned this before, August is a month of birthdays for me. I was talking about having 3 consecutive weekends of party. Huifen and Joanna's last weekend, Steph's this weekend that just passed, and Ching's this ocming weekend. Ade just made it the 4th consecutive one for me. Plus the last weekend, we're having this BBQ which will sort of be a mini birthday celebration for Chan. None of my August Saturdays are free for dates now, people!
The thing I enjoy most about parties is the catching up. Food & cakes don't excite me anymore, sadly. So happy to see and have have time to talk to Ade & Xiaohui! Haven't seen all the SA netballers since dunno when. Hopefully, will be able to catch more of them & the Extremes people @ Ade's party!
I have alot of photos since last Friday. Have fun with them!
Last last Friday night
We didn't have the intention to club. We were looking for a place to chill after realising Equinox was full house. Ended up at Esplanade and realised it was Ladies night at DXO, with free drinks for me. So we spend 18bucks for cover with 2 drinks and I queued for 2 drinks when the queue was still short, got nice sofa seats and people watched. And danced abit. The music was quite nice but the people there are, ermmm, I dunno what to say. Left at 1plus and had a hard time finding Prince Charming. I got quite high, after a Vodka Ribena and a Gin Tonic, which explains some most of the pictures.
Last last Saturday

Late lunch at Fish & Co., random shopping at This Fashion & Dhoby exchange and just slacking the afternoon away before I went for Huifen's party.
Last Saturday

We went for Farmart for supper on Friday night and I suggested visiting the Goat Farm the next day since we didn't know what to do. So we woke up early on a Saturday (!), had Macs breakfast, and headed to the Goat Farm to watch the millking, feed some goats and squeeze with ALOT of kids and parents. Then went next door's Dragon Fruit Farm. Drove around the kampong-ish area with windows wind down. Passed by Bollywood and went in to take a look. Now I'm 99% confirmed the place is owned by the president of Netball Singapore. Cos there were netball post and a basket of netballs there. Nice. Last stop at Farmart, that was actually the first time I went to Farmart in the day. Held a super pretty yellow parrot and it kept nibbling at my Chancho ring. We didn't take any photo together cos we were too sticky and sweaty and put our arms around each other. And he was super unglam in his Tekong specs!
Last Saturday
Napped the afternoon and off I went for Steph's party!

From this post, it seems that me and Chan lead a very balanced couple life. We club, eat, shop & we visit farms. Haha! We are combing the ulu part of Singapore now. Soon, we have to climb mountains to entertain ourselve already.
Anyway, watched the Jay Chou's movie already. I'm impressed by him, seriously. For a nookie producer/director/story writer to come up with it. And the twist totally shocked me. Not going to be a spoiler in case you guys are planning to watch it.
And with that, there goes another week. Hello Monday! And happy school re-opening, NTU peeps.
