Partido de Hawaii
I survived on a small bowl on Koka noodles the whole day. And I even swam today. I think I'm mad, but I'm just not hungry. shrugs.
Those people who received smses or mails from me,
better, I mean pleeeeeaaaaaase reply me ASAP. Hehe.
This is a particularly long weekend. But still, its monday tmr. Ok, cannot complain. Have to remind myself of the bracelet I made for Yin. Colours of Joy - Monday blues and looking forward to weekends shouldn't exit because everyday is a joy.
Why portugese? Because I am a fan of Christiano Ronaldo. It's a half truth. He is cute when he smiles, but not the reason why a portugese name. Fiesta (in Spanish) doesn't sound as good as Partido. The boyfriend was the one who came up with the "Peg them up!" with me. That time still not boyfriend yet. Hehe. I trust that this Partido de Hawaii and Momento de Estrellas is gonna be another hit!

It feels good to be home on a Friday
Finally here to update! I'm on MC today, which explains why I am free to blog now. Doc says I got a cold viral infection. Oh well, shut up, Mr Koh Chan Howe.
Work is boring. Haha. Its not really the nature of the work but the cycle of waking up in the morning, squeeze train and bus with stupid aunties and uncles, go office sit down, fast lunch etc. BORING LIFE! I've been going out alot in the evening, like almost everyday. Cos I can't stand going home and nua my precious evening away. And its really nice to meet up with friends over dinner, catch up, what-not.
Been doing tax comps after tax comps, filling up form C and amending those comptations reviewed by the people above me. They are really damn particular about what we submit to IRAS so I have to reprint one whole page just becasue of minute details. But beginning to handle new things now. Like answering queries about certain figures from IRAS etc.
Boring work life, and we are paid lower than macdonald's people. How sad can that be right? Haha. But something which all the Shenton way people should be envious of me is that I got free season parking. Hehe! But a pity I don't get to drive everyday.
Been busy about my birthday plans as well. Sigh, really regretted not doing it earlier before my internship started. And with cock ups along the way with the venue, its really frustrating me alot. But really appreciate all the help extended and offered. From the boyfriend especially. With no internet connection at my desk and a super open cubicle where my manager's office is right behind my back, there wasn't much privacy for me to do alot of such things. Even making a private call was difficult. Sian. Have to resort to calling in the toilet cubicle. Haha. Pathetic.
And with alot of miscommunication among the family members, things aren't helping. But I finallly convinced my Ah Ma to let me handle it myself and she doesn't have to do anything for me. SO the only thing she insisted which I heeded was to hold it before and not after the actual day.
So, friends, keep your 9th June evening free for me ok? :) And I know I told some of you I will get a wish list up. But but, at the moment, I really dunno what I want. No time to shop leh. And I don't exactly lack anything now. Haha. And what I want is probably way way over budget, like a Coach bag kind, so I think its up to your own discretion again ok, darlings? Its really the thought that counts lah.

Yoo hoo. Miss me? I didn't get knock down by a car, F&N didn't swallow me, I'm alive and kicking. Just that my mundane 8.15-6 life has got nothing much interesting to blog about. And the IBM of mine is seriously getting on my nerves. I'm thinking of getting one day of MC, just to make time to go down to CIT to get that damn laptop fixed (then at the same time I will visit the doctor in school! HAHA. Cheap thrill)
Work is, hmm, how should I put it? Super mundane. Its tax comp after tax comp, piles of files (eh, it rhymes!), form C, P&L blah blah over and over again. But then there's a saddistic part of me which kinda likes it, and another more normal part of me which can't really stand it, like how alot people can't. You know how people go crazy when they deal with nothing but numbers. Contradicting, I know.
Anyway, I was reading some Singapore Budget 2007 Synopsis published by EY and I saw something which the head of tax (of EY) quoted from the book "The World is Flat" by Thomas Friedman:
