I was determined not to be late this morning cos I have been late for 2 consecutive tuesdays. So I left home about 5-10 mins earlier and ended up in school at 810 cos I missed the whole BKE morning jam. That is like, 5-10 mins for half an hour. Can someone deconflict this so that I can reach on time at 830?

Its week 11 in SMU, which means 4 more weeks to exams. On top of that, disgusting project datelines are drawing near. Talking to some friends yesterday and realised that their exams are nearer than mine. Guess everyone is in a highly stressed mode. So this is going out to all the stressed school people..

I was supposed to be up at 9. But well, I was testing the alarm and snoozing function of my new phone. tsk tsk.

Asoc Day on Friday was damn fun. I think any event we go to, we always manage to have fun. Self-entertainment I call it. But the best part was, we managed to win the 3day 2night to Frasers Suites. I am so excited and looking forward to it! Cos we are gonna have so much fun again!!

Yesterday the boyfriend was showing me the phone he wanted to buy. When I saw it, I was like, oh my god, the white one is sooo nice, get the white one! But he said he will never get a white phone. SO it got me super tempted to get one for myself. Its has every function except a camera, which is the reason why he is buying. So now I'm in a 'super tempted to get the phone' mood. Argh! Throw in a 3.2 megapix camera in it and I confirm buy. But then the price would have been so much different already I guess. :(





Since nostalgia seems to be such an in thing now.. Haha! I was digging through my stuff to look my Kranji and SA leaving certs. And I found this...


Sec 4D class list! Haha! And I had a few of them. I think I kept some for rememberance. Cos I always had to take these dumb ass class list to mark stupid attendance.


Better still... I even had the list of everyone's particulars. I think Ms Sim gave it to me. Haha. Be nice to me people, else I know where to hang pig's head. I even have your IC numbers!!

And it came in handy. See those markings by the side? It was used to organise the visit to Ms Phua's love nest.

My weekend in 2 words: very slack.

Gave myself a break. :) Let's see what I have done.

On Friday, after CAT, went to visit Ah Ma with a nice bouquet of flowers. I could tell how happy she was to see me. Not bragging, but I saw how her face lit up when I walked in with the flowers. I didn't tell her I was going down, and at that time she was alone, watching TV, and I presume, kinda bored. And that made my day too!

Because I have spent quite a lot on cab and the flowers, I decided to take public home. Outram -> Jurong East -> And... I overshot and ended up taking 187 home from Marsiling. zZz. Went home and slept for another 4 hours, you don't know how xing fu I felt. Hahaha.

Went Loof with Linrong, Zhicheng, Jason and Timmy, followed by porridge at Chinatown before heading home to sleep again.

Slept till the sun was way up on Saturday then headed to town for some retail therapy with the boyfriend. It felt like I haven't shopped since forever. Bought 2 pairs of shorts from Cotton On, and he bought the 5bucks slippers too. Finally used my last piece of Wisma vouchers. Then high-tead at this new cafe by Bakerzin, which I forgot the name, before meeting the guys for movie.


Watched Brothers with 5 guys. -_- If it was Jason, Zhicheng and Bobbs confirm try to associate me into the brotherhood. But lucky these guys still see me as a girl, at least thats what I want to think. Haha.

Finally met Mak after 6 long months. And he finally gave up hinting us to organise something for him and organised this outing himself. But in the end, who had the great foresight to go buy tickets first and who was the one making the booking for Chevrons?! When can I ever sit back and just show my face, and stop being a mother to them? You boysssss!


As usual Chevrons after that. Totally predictable. Celebrated Yu and Jian's birthday. A bit budget but hope you guys don't mind k?











I'm having this unexpected free time to myself, and as usual I'm loving it. (:

Was ready to spend the rest of my afternoon, after tuition, at SGH with ah ma. But when I reached, she was feeling sleepy cos the doctor gave her an injection to ease her giddiness. So I only spent less than half an hour there, then went for lunch with gong gong cos we both have not eaten. I went by public transport, which took like almost one hour, walked around the complicated Outram Campus, perspiring and panting like mad but stayed for only such a short while. Bleh, abit like not worth it.

Anyhoo, thanks for all your concern. The op went well and she's feeling good, other than feeling giddy and not having much appetite. Probably due to the anaesthesia, and who can ever have appetite with hospital food?

I am feeling unexpectedly more relaxed on this supposedly hell week, as compared to my recess week. Its the preparation process I reckon. But this free-ness is scaring me a little.

I think my room needs my attention now. The table has reached a stage it can't get any messier. Ciaoz!

How not to miss those carefree days?

Actually in those days, I already learnt the lesson that effort does not always equate result. I remembered putting in so much effort for this FDN but still, we lost. I was probably still young and naive to realise the lesson behind it. But now I do.

Some comments on people I still see:

• Zhong Chou, good job growing up, seriously! Hahaha. You look 10 million times better now I swear.
• Somehow in this picture, Mak looks like he is of the same colour as Shwetha (is that how you spell her name?) Hahaha.
• Long hair suits Steph better
• Delon and Huijie looks sooooo younggg boyishh. Delon, how come it seems to me that your brother is in this photo instead of you?
  
• People like Mui, Cindi and Yenfang (ESPECIALLY) never change one! Forever that face.
• As for myself... Was I so skinny last time?

I can't find the rest of the people but I suspect the forehead behind Hwee Teng is Yirong and the one behind Edmund and Delon is Den. Lun, where are you?

But those were really the days... So stupid, yet so fun! Miss miss missssssssss.







I think we have all grown up, and reached an age whereby our grandparents are getting old. Its just too much of an coindence. I just read Shiyin's blog about her grandmother. Then 5 minutes later I asked Jian about his MSN nick which happened to be refering to her sick grandfather. So it just spurred a thought in me that at 21 years old, we have all grown up, and that means our parents and grandparents especially are getting older, and older.

I have already attended at least 2 wakes of my close friends' grandparents over the past year. Not counting some which I did not attend or did not know about. This are all processes of life but I cannot imagine any of my 4 grandparents whom have played such significant roles in my life leaving us behind.

Whichever religion you believe in, do pray for your grandparent's health. And don't wait for regrets. Remember the ones who protected you when your parents wanted to hit you? Remember the ones who insisted in giving you the 5 or 10 dollar note, sweets and chocolates no matter how many times your parents says NO? Remember the ones who buy toys for you and bring you to Swensens at the expense of getting "scolded" by your parents?

And I swear at this rate, we are turning lesbians. /rain

I think I have had enough recess weeks to realise that out of these 3 things: fun, work and rest, you can only have 2 if you want to have them properly. If not you end up like me. Work not much done, not enough rest and yet not having enough time to do the fun things you want. And worse still you end up falling sick. Damn sian.

And I can't believe that even Thursday is ending already. OMG, my recess week!

I am not kidding when my desire colum says world peace. I realise I do appreciate peace to myself a whole lot more than last time. I am having this unplanned time alone, in my quiet home, because Man U is kicking off half an hour later and I decided to take a rest and some time to myself instead of watching 1-0 matches. Their matches have been boring so far. Blah.

I guess to spice up his match a little, the bf made a deal with me:

Him: if man utd win by more than 2 goals tonight, i give you 15mins massage.
Me: so hard lo! ahhaah
Him: Wigan leh!
Me: Ok lor, since I got nothing to lose
Him: if man utd lose.. u massage me 15 mins. deal or no deal?
Me: hmm... deal

My rationale is: If Man U loses to Wigan, I'll just take it as a consolation to him. No big deal, 15 mins of my version of time anyway. Muahhaa.

I am so sleepy now, although having slept from 330am - 2pm. Last night went to eat steamboat with Timo and Yenfang then chilled at Bali Lane, drank Erdinger, Steph came, went to catch gay monkeys at this Fort Road carpark, then caught normal monkeys at the ECP carpark, went Geylang to look at prostitutes and gross men. Luckily I wasn't driving. Hehe. Thanks Timo. I was sooo tired lah. I think catching monkeys in a red car ain't such a smart idea. Oh, did I mention that some of the whores are actually quite pretty, young and hot? Sigh...







Ben's words are always so influential. Remember the saddistic him saying "Sleep is for the Week" last term. And now ZC is using it. I swear I have been too weak. Who in the world gets the luxury of waking up at 12noon for 2 days straight on a week 7? Everytime I set my alarm at 10, i ended up waking up past 12. I think I should make it 8am next time. And then bobbs had his own version of "Food is for the weak". Again, I have been the happiest weak around. Leading the life of a pig.


All these plans for next week is getting me so excited over recess week. So much so that I feel that I am holidaying already (with the waking up past 12 nonsense) when I actually have a midterm and an assignment due tmr! I am going to make at least 1 of the list of activities happen, I swear. But other than that, I guess there's nothing much to look forward to judging from my heap of week 9 happenings on the right. Bleh.

Back to work, no more wasting time.







Can someone please tell me how to make my pictures in such a way that I can click on them and make them appear bigger, you know, that kind. Blogger is damn siao lah. I always upload my photos in the same way but sometimes its clickable and sometimes its not. Grrr. I spent so much time doing the collage lor! But no one can see the captions of the photos! Grr..

I can't stand it whenever I close my internet explorer of Facebook, I will received a Facebook notification on my Outlook. And I have to open a new internet explorer window (or tab) and go onto Facebook again. Grr.. It happened 10 million times today already. This Facebook addiction is getting out of hand. But, kinda fun too.
