Spelling Saga
In 2006, SMU got "suaned" for spelling "received" as "recieved". Some well-known Brown blogger was damn sacarstic about how
we can't spell.
In 2007, I chanced this upon my bro's blog.
The people in Pulau Nanyang probably used too much MSN.
At least we could retify the problem by sticking something over the mistake since it was a board on the street. But the "tomorow" one was on The Straits Time. OH my....

What am I doing later?
The thought of this questions simply told me not to sleep so early. My days hasn't been that bad. Somehow or another, I have something going on everyday.
But, I actually reserved tmr for my ah ma, waiting for her to call me. Cos she was asking me the other day if I would be interested to go on those one day cruise with her. I was thinking why not. Even if I don't gamble, I can still go see see jalan jalan and see what my ah ma has been up to, and accompany her at the same time. I remembered her saying something like maybe Thursday and she will confirm with me again after she confirms with her friends. So I actually left Thursday free for her. But then, no news.
It seems like ah ma doesn't need ah girl's company. :(
Anyway, I have been fooling with Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0. I haven't been using photoshop since I reformatted my com and cos I sucked at it. It was just damn cheem to me lah. But I chanced upon Photoshop Elements while I was trying to download the old photoshop, thinking that since I have time to go play around with it. To my pleasant surprise, Photoshop Elements is ssooooo much friendlier.
The product of my experiment
Went cycling with 3 monkeys boys on Sunday. I was so happy when I knew that it was raining in the morning. Haha. Cos I was feeling abit lazy. But the rained stopped in the late morning and I was pulled out of bed. Shucks!
He was damn enthu about trying the double seater bike while I was abit hesitant. The only time I tried that bike was with Steph in our lower sec days and oh my, it was damn bad. We had so much trouble coordinating and was screaming all over. But I think he made the right decision. It wasn't that bad at all this time round and I can just happily slack the back while he pedal. Muahhaaa.

You know that when you are damn free, you are awake at 3am after losing 16 bucks in mahjong, you get abit emo, you start thinking about things, random things.
I think being free is bad for me. I am damn emo and I think about damn alot of things. Which is totally unnecessary. A good example would be the post below. I find myself damn silly after that actually.
One night I think about my relationship with the boyfriend. Not that we have any problems but you know, just think about random things, some might be depressing just thinking about it. Like especially after the J & W (shit G, I'm blogging like you!) incident, I have been trying to put myself in their shoes and stuff like that. Even when there ain't any problem I will go think of a problem to think about it. Totally stupid and looking for trouble.
One night I think about my family. Mum, dad, Ah ma, whoever, baby cousins, etc.
One night I think about my friends. Different groups of friends. All sorts of things about different friends, my relationship with them etc. Totally damn random, jumping from one person to the other.
Just like this post, all my thoughts are super random. The losing 16 bucks is random too lah. I am not affected by it, in case my kakis think so. I am 100% reimbursed for it anyway! haha. Cos the boyfriend was in a good mood today he agreed to pay for my losses and share 50-50 my winnings. Just that you guys need to be my witness that I really tried hard and someone else's luck was just SO MUCH better than me. Tsk.
Adding on to the randomness, if you haven't heard, I almost won first prize in 4D on Sunday. Its a long story, but the gist of it is that if the number appeared on Wednesday instead of Sunday, I would have won 200bucks I think. Yah, I bet some of you, G especially, are thinking "wah lao, this peg is damn ah soh." But I can't really be bothered to tell you the whole long story why I went to NTUC and bought 4D from Singapore Pools on Wednesday. If you are interested then come and ask me.
Ok, I just made myself sound an avid gambler. I only buy 4D once in a blue moon, please.
Oh! Mak called me on Sunday afternoon. It was a pleasant surprise, after being tricked by him. TO think I thought I was damn smart to think that he is a conman trying to con me for my account number of that sort of thing. I feel bloody stupid but glad that he bothered to tell us that he is alive and kicking. And to the very very least, that idiot could remember my number off hand. I should be honoured man.
And talking about overseas call, Dicky called me at 12plus PM on Monday and the first few words he said to me was "WHAT THE FUCK! You are still sleeping?!" HAHA. What a nice pick up line lah.
Ok, can someone please tell me if I would be billed for these calls? Not that I am ngiao or what lah please. I don't mind such expenses one, in fact I am happy they called, but I just want to know. Cos I sms-ed back quite alot when I was in Malaysia too. So at least I have a rough gauge. I don't have to pay my own bills anyway (hehe) but just want to have a mental preparation that I will be called up to ask about my bill if it's going to be high.
Alright, its 4am I think I gotta hit the sack soon in case any jealous of my slackish life people calls me at 12 and WTF me again.

Bored ramblings
I went through my guest book again and went through all the messages you people left for me on my party. And this drawing never fail me bring a smile across my face. Everytime I see this picture I really want to laugh. Cos I was there, right beside Huifen when she started with a blank page, and those people came (I think Gavin started it) and added this and that, and somehow it became like that. Got story somemore, Haha. Damn funny. All the private jokes which are somehow so "the asoc clique". This must be the funniest page in my entire guestbook.
Abit random, but I thought about what I am going to wear for huifen's party. I know still another week but I have nothing in my wardrobe to suit her theme can. Unless someone lends me their no. 4. Haha. I never liked dark green, dirty green (cos of stupid kranji uniform) so I don't have jungle-ly clothes at home. Ok, nvm, at most I go pluck some leaves.
Anyway I've decided not to post my Genting/KL photos for some reasons. Although I am damn bored and free, I am quite lazy to choose, maybe 10 or 20, from the 100 over photos to post. And I really don't know if certain people do read my blog, like you all know who lah, so just in case lah ok? And we keep saying we never really take but still 100 over. Super hiao. haha. Ok lah, bottom line is I am lazy. I think the more I slack, the lazier I get.
And for the last time, Peg's straight hair. I made an appointment to bomb my hair tmr afternoon. But..... when I was looking for this photo, and choosing between a few, I kinda feel reluctant to curl it anymore.
So i went to dig for photos of me in self-made temp curls to make myself feel better.

Ok lah, bomb already also pretty right??? And I think I had enough of procrastination.

Home!
Ok, I was back since saturday evening, nursing my flu. And resting alot cos I have the falling sick feeling. Sleeping alot too. Damn tired for some reason. (jetlag? nonsense!)
I want durian. The boyfriend says he will get for me on Thursday if I don't fall sick. Hehe.
T'was a good getaway. Lots of talks, late nights, small talks, cool girly outing, shopping. But I really want a foot massage now.

ORD lo!
You know after so much of looking forward to it, counting down and all, I actually felt this sadness in me when I left. As I drove to school from Alexandra Point, I started thinking about those colleagues of mine. Although auntyish, PMS-y and all, I have grown attached and upon realisation that I might never see them EVER AGAIN made me feel kind of sad. I really really never expected this emotion. Oh well.

Of shopping
I so wanted to get something from spree, but I just didn't know what to get. Tempted to get another pair of jellies but I think my shoe cabinet is gonna collapse. And I think I am puching the limits cos I expected my mum to nag at my shoes quite some time back but she hasn't. Added another pair of heels from URS (which I think I wouldn't be wearing too often) from the warehouse sale. Oh, talking about that, there's URS warehouse sale at Anchorpoint. Most of the stuff there are heels so go check it out if you are interested. Its until 31st July but I don't know how's status of their stock now cos I went on the first day during lunch. (: The shoes are going for 10, 15, 19, 25 bucks. To make the 15 dollars worthwhile, I will wear the heels to work for the last 2 days. Hoho.
I can't get bags too cos my PGmall just arrived and my little mountain of bags is way too high now.
No apparels too cos I just had 2 items of impulsive buys from Zara yesterday. I just wanted to use my vouchers during the sale. But its ok, work's ending and school's starting, will definitely get to wear the denim. You know I actually missed wearing denim skirt so much? Haha.
Plus I'm going KL this coming weekend, I think I will shop there and leave my spree bar empty for now.
HAPPY 18 months, my dear! I haven't seen him the entire day although its a Sunday. He had some stuff at Istana Castle for the whole day. But we had a small celeb at IndoChine last night. He loves the tee I made for him. So happy! :D
Mine says "I'm sleeby & I love Icecube". Yah, I know so cheesy, don't think you will ever see us walking around wearing it together, but I guess you will see us wearing it individually.

Zoooooooooo
Alright, I know its quite unlike me to not update my blog for this long. But I don't feel obliged to do it cos I'm not someone who blogs for a living. I have better things to do, sometimes.
I just came back from ICA. It was f-ing packed can. When I got my queue number there were 400 people in front of me. Like seriously, wth! I re-watched the final episode of PB out of total boredom. And I seriously feel that the place is super disgraceful. Hate the carpark, the cafeteria is super lok, the toilet made me feel like I am in a neighbouring country. And on the contrary, cos the boy was at Istana, he was telling me that he felt like he was in a palace. And you see the contrast?
Have been rather busy this whole week. Have been coming hom late everyday and I think today is the first time I see mummy in the week. And I've also only met him once in this whole week, which is quite rare. :(
Anyhoo, we went to Zoo last weekend. Tsk tsk. We took more photos of animals than of ourselves. Cos the photographer instinct in him came and I would say some of the shots have the makings of a postcard or that kind of thing. And I think I kept looking more at little children than animals cos the kids in the zoo are totaly so kewute! The zoo is like the best place to see a gathering of cute children. So much so that until now I can still vividly remember some of those more prominent ones' looks. Bumped into Peiyin and her hubby and her cute super chubby little girl there too! Her baby is really so so chubby lah. And I refuse to let Peiyin say "say hello to Auntie!" Hey, its jie jie ok? Although I am 1 month older than your mummy but you should still call me jie jie only. Haha.
We got "reminded" by the shopkeeper that "no photos of merchandise allowed" immediately after I took the shot with the snake. But too bad, picture take. He was trying to act cool in the solo pic but I thought it looked kinda cute! Hehe.
Otter. I love the way they all snuggle together like hamsters. So adorable. And the otter's name is Pedro. One alphabet different from my bro!
Seldom see tigers so active in the zoo. They are usually sleepy and lazy. But it seems like the kangaroo was the sleepy one. Community living is so amazing. The hippo's dirt served as food for fishes.
I swear the baboons are my favourite. This whole kingdom of 70 over baboons totally cracked me up. I think we spent the longest time and took the most pictures there. The young ones are so naughty, they disturb each other and start chasing after each other, playing, running around. The old ones sit there and stare into space and push the young ones away from they disturbed them. Haha. Their ugly ass looks like super comfortable cushion.
This picture portays all the motherly love. Mummy playing with kid, cuddling them and will hold the kid's tail to make sure that it wouldn't wander to far away from her. So sweet lah.
The elephant jumped into the water when we reached. Cos the weather was so hot that day, I felt damn shiok for it man. Haha. And it really looked like its enjoying itself. The other one was damn smart. It used a stick and fling it up to the tree so that the stick will hit the leaves, make them fall so that they can pick the leaves from the floor to eat them. So smart right? Totally amazed by it!
Tortoises. I stood there and looked at the tortoise eat for a while and just can't help wondering how long does it take to finish that whole plate of vegatable and fruits.

Giraffe, lioness, zebras showing us their asses, and ostrich.
The rhinocerous were grunting and using their horns to push each other away cos the area where their food was was too cramp for all of them. And the zoo-keeper "scolded" them the way a mummy would to her children when they fight and amazingly, the rhinos kind of obeyed. The polar bear just woke up from its sleep when we reached and it roamed around for awhile before shitting in front of us. Omg. The it started playing in the pool with the big white block and attracted super alot of people.
Ok, I think thats about it. 2 more days to the end of internship! Oh my, can't wait.
