A Satisfied Customer
I can be a nice and easily satisfied customer, but I can be damn mean if I think I didn't get the least respect as a customer from you. (Ask the dessert stall guy at Wisma food republic. Muahaha)
I'm a happy customer today.
Simon, the guy from Chevrons whom I'm liasing with called me up today and asked me if I could pass him the contract and the deposit today. It was last minute cos the the public holiday. Our working hours are the same, so it means by the time I knock off, he knocks off too. He doesn't work on weekends unless there's an event. So it means that there's no way I can meet him unless I take MC. So I told him the earliest I can reach Chevrons would be near 7 today.
And he went "hmm.. ok, I wait for you"
I was damn shocked lah. So I went, "REALLY?!"
And he said "zhen de!"
I thought this guy was damn dedicated, so I rushed down to meet him. Kena honked by a truck on the way (oops!) cos I cut into his lane abruptly. But because he went in a neither slow nor fast speed and I need to exit the expressway lah. Ok, I know it was my fault. But also no need to honk so many times right? After that he passed by me he honked again. Ok nvm, I knew it was my fault. Sorry lor, uncle. But don't have to honk so many times.
Right, back to topic. Cos it was past his working time, I thought our meeting will be short and speedy. But I was wrong. He went through the details in the contract with me, although he knew I read it already, brought me to see the venue, although I have seen it and knew which part of it. Brought me to see the back up room upon my request, etc. And really tried to go around the books to accomodate to me with the extra tables and chairs, extra complimentary parking for my guests. I'm impressed with this guy man. Sorry for thinking that you are gay, Simon! Haha. He really sounds like one on the phone. But he is damn courteous, friendly and nice. This is the kind of service I don't mind paying extra for.
Probably cos this guy really made my day. I was in a chirpy mood. The foreign salesgirl at BPP mini toons had awesome service too. Like those kind who will make me turn back just to thank her.
Then followed by the Thai food at BPP food court. I always see foodcourt Korean stall hawkers wearing the traditional costume, but they are actually mainlanders who can't understand English. I thought it was abit off. But the Thai stall at BPP are run by pure Thais who speaks Thai to one another, although they were just wearing Tshirt. One of them don't even understand English can. Probably thats why the food also tasted very local Thai. YUMS. And the woman who could speak Mandarin as well was very friendly and nice as well.
These people made paying so much easier.
And with the dessert stall guy at Wisma food republic, I admitted that what I did was quite unnecessary but I was really quite pissed with him cos I thought it was quite rude of him.
