Aching mermaid awaits a new ride
This was supposed to be yesterday's post. So all the "yesterday"s are the day before and all the "tmr"s are today etc. Ain't that hard to figure out.I am aching from head to toe from the Sentosa trip. Any muscle, which you can identify that I have moved, has been aching since yesterday morning. Even the neck area which I totally have no idea why. Everytime I sit down, I resist standing up and when I am standing, it takes great pain and effort to sit down. I moved like an old lady. He laughed at the way I get on and off the car cos he says that’s how his grandpa does it. Idiot. But I am half crippled now with the strained ankle. Damn it, how not to admit that I am old. Very kua zhang, I know. But the last I exercised was the gym with Becks. If you put me in just a GS or GK position now and make me play a full 15 x 4quards game, I think I will be TOTALLY paralyzed the next day. No joke. I am damn disgusted with how unfit I am now but yet too lazy to do anything about it. Haha. Ok, ignore me and just let me eat and get fat and die.
And with all the aches and the strain, I went ahead with the pair of work heels (not very high also lah) and stood for 45 mins on 963 at the end of the bendy bus. Holding my zen in one hand, insisting on watching my PB, with the other hand holding the grab pole, keeping my balance. That ride was torturous. Seeing people on your left and right getting a seat because their position was more strategic than yours made it worse.
Anyhoooo, during my 3 and half hours weekly tuition yesterday evening, the boy went down to Tan Chong with his parents. Haha. They were supposed to go see see, talk to the agent, sign a form to authorise the agent to check stuff for them, then head down to Komoco to see Advante. But they came back with a white folder, contract signed and everything, without even seeing the Hyundai.
Yeah baby, I am so looking forward to the white Nissan Latio. His mum pushed for white cos its nice (and cos she seldom need to do the washing, smart mother). The sports version would be so much nicer but I guess it doesn’t make economical sense. But I still love my jazzie baby no less. Smooch. He says cos its white, the Latio is a prince charming. Act like some bai ma wang zi. The car is in stock, so if everything goes smoothly and they get the next COE bid, Prince Charming will arrive in mid July. So exciting. Now that lazy bum has no excuse to “Dear, can we drive your car? Cos I am lazy to keep changing gear in that kind of traffic”. And he will finally trust me with his car once its auto.
Quite some memories we shared were based on the Sunny, so I guess somehow, I might miss it. After all, it’s purple (or at least close to)! And I am so gonna step on the clutch and go, half-clutch, gear 1, gear 2, gear 3 etc at least once more before its gone. I think now he will allow me to. Hehe.
It’s Tuesday tmr. Which means that after tmr, I am only left with 3 weeks (ie 15days) to the end of internship. I realize the week passes faster when you have 2 “weekends” to look forward to. After every Tuesday, I strike off 1 week of internship and look forward to the end. So not so much mid week blues. And if you do your math correctly, next Tuesday is the end of the 8th week. Which means that it is my PAYthetic DAY!
I’m so looking forward to July. 1st July, we’ll be getting our GST offset money from the gahment. Big hug for Uncle Lee. And the anti-smoking in nightspots applies. 10th July I say bye bye to F&N and embrace holidays once again. And our girlies trip to KL. And not forgetting Prince Charming’s arrival! But I hope August never come. I am always damn broke in August from all the close people’s birthday. And the start of new term, plus the buying of books. :(
PS: Latio is pronounced as “lad – sio” Sio as in hot in hokkien. And not the very low class sounding “lad – teo”. And I found out when he was surfing some forums that Hyundai Tucson is pronounced as “too – sawn” and not “tuk – sen”. It sounded more high class definitely. Haha. Mr Poo, did you know?
What huat-sio and Thaksin. Jazz is nice, simple and wouldn’t go wrong. Hor, Jia?
