It was actually swaying quite a bit, even when its on ground level. So probably its really very unsafe to fly. But since we were there already (and put parking coupon already), we decided to go dine at this restaurant directly opposite the balloon. First knew about the restaurant from XiaXue. I have been wanting to go try since I read from her. So since we can't take the balloon, we used the money for the dinner and put the balloon plan aside. Anyway, according to information from air force, the balloon will be there till end of 2007. Another day then.
Abit disappointed at first, to be honest. But the thought of the food cheered me up! Muahaha.
Waiting for food and the layout of Indulgz. Its quite a nice place. Small and comfortable but surprisingly quite alot of people. Maybe XiaXue does work to some extent. We weren't that smiley in actual fact. Cos we were both starvingggggggggg!
Food. :) The butterfish which XiaXue claimed was nice was out of stock. So the waiter introduced the beer battered fish. Quite ordinary actually. The steak is quite ok for a place which don't specialise in steaks. And the mushrooms garlic tartar sause is damn nice!
This was the first time I had cheese fondue. So kinda excited. The cheese doesn't really taste exactly like cheese, I don't really know how to describe. But its quite nice. They put some liquor so you wouldn't get too sick of it after a while. But when you are quite full, it still gets abit sick towards the end. I think it goes best with the bread (and yeah, the fries), but not so much of the fruits.
I think I look quite oriental with that hairstyle that day. Read: Oriental, not China girl. But I like that pic. The waitresses and waiters were very nice, very friendly, very helpful. And they don't recommend you their most expensive stuff. Thumbs up for their service!
