S82 Gathering




Somehow, the feeling of a class gathering is about seeing people you haven't seen in ages, and be surprised about how they have changed etc. But I didn't really felt so. Haha. Probaby 'cos half the people who turned up are those whom I still meet up with. People like Yenfang, Penny, Ivan, Huijie, Nah. Aiyo, seeing them doesn't feel abit like class gathering at all. And the rest hasn't changed much as well.

Hadn't been easy planning for and organising this gathering. And as I expected, some people just say OK and last min tell you they don't want to to come. Its as if the stereotype is not enough, they just have to prove us right.


But it was a yummy steamboat buffet with those who came. And very fun eating non stop with a big group, passing plates of meat around, sharing food, ordering so much that the waiter was scared and just plain chatting, poking fun and catching up. At least all the effort in sending them so many email updates, hunting for venue, considering weather, making reservations, getting screamed at by the rude Mainland lady boss etc made it worthwhile for those who came.


And I think the greatest satisfaction was to get Mr. Roland Lee down as well. Although half the time he was busy SMS-ing and left earlier to meet a "friend". But still, he went!

As corny as the phrase may sound, once a saint, always a saint. And I really miss those days in SA with the class sleeping in lectures and econs class, copying notes from one another (cos sleeping) with our fanicful, colouful pens, sneaking food to our home room, sitting in the first few rows of audi during Physics lecture, making fun of Mdm Seet, snatching to earn chocs and sweets from Mdm Chan, kidding around with Lin Jun Ling, talking cock with uncle, playing a fool with Leonard Ong, running away from Ms K and Mrs Kang, playing soccer during PE, makan-ing after school, taking 963 with the clique, slacking in the cafe during breaks with lame jokes and animal games, hanging of stinky shirts all over the place after PE. Miss the cafe food, the fruit stall uncle who anyhow whack "hey boy, hey girl" and say fifty cents and fivety cents, the Malay stall's stingray, the bubbly chicken rice auntie and her roasted duck rice me and HJ always look forward to, the chicken chop, char kuay tiao...... And of course the Netball team.

Wah.. I miss SA man. And I could have just gone on and on. Gotta move on.

A dual purpose cake with "Happy New Year" with candles for JJ. And you know, birthdays beside pools are not very fun.

Thanks, Gavin for the nice gathering. And I seriously think the next time we will all see most us will be in the library. HAHA. Kena scolded by Dicky today for counting down to the start of term. Its a reality check ok! And when we bade goodbyewith one another, we said "cya on wednesday". Wah how sad. It feels like a few days ago we were all mugging together in the lib or sem room. And very soon, we'll be back to it again.

Hello blogger, it has been awhile since I saw this page. Had been trying to log in for the whole of yesterday but couldn't get my ass in. Have been wanting to share my joy about my baby. Although I would really prefer it red, nonetheless, it still look gorgeous to me.

I'm not mad lah. Just abit of over-enthusiasm. But I guess I needa make known that its not really my car, as in MY car. Its not under my name, I'm not the one paying for it. So you know, the Mummy gets the priority to bring it out.

Dear and I brought this baby to town, Bugis, then Ah Ma's place, then Dad's office today. He had a chance to take the driver's seat and its funny to see him wanting to look for the gear stick to change gear. Haha. Where's your clutch, baby? Wanted to get my P-plate from Gong gong's car but he was out, with the car and my P-plate of course. BAH. 3 more weeks to 17Jan. I thought of not putting the ugly triangular plate up at all cos its gonna spoil the aesthetics of my baby but dear said people would forgive me easier if I took forever to do corrections during parking and that sort of thing. And seeing that I'm a woman driver with a P-plate, they would forgive me totally. Whats with this sexist comment man. Women are good drivers ok. Haha. I thought of getting another set of it but I think it would be stupid to waste 10bucks on another pair of ugly orange triangles. So I'm just gonna survive without them until I get my butts down to newton. And probably some MCPs will just go "bah, female driver. forgive her" even if i don't have my triangles.

I'm not nearing the end of Prison Break season 1 yet. And I don't think I'll be able to finish everything I wanted to finish before school starts. This weekend is so nicely planned. Something on from tmr to Monday without anything clashing. Nice. Which means I wouldn't be home every night.

And talking about that, a reality check tells me that school's starting in 5 days time. How bloody nice. Hello, libs, I'm coming back!

Christmas eve was spent in the most unhappening way. Slacked the day, then Rong came over after Caroling late evening. We baked cookies, watched abit of TV, ate and jio-ed the guys out for some more happening stuff. But ended up having supper at Bukit Timah with Den and Lun. The clock stuck 12 when we were eating. So we wished one another Merry Xmas in our oily yet not very oily hands. Haha.

At least Christmas day made up for it. He came over early afternoon and we exchanged our gifts. I made him star shaped cookies and homemade heart shaped chocolates. Not totally homemade, but still, I made it lah. Haha! A little low on budget due to the gift exchanges and I am saving more budget for our Anni. So yeah, cookies.

He wrote me a card which he is damn ashamed of cos he thinks it looks damn ugly and looks like some kid's handwriting. LOL. I would be shock if the card is written damn nicely lah! Haha. But I requested for it, telling him that its the effort that counts. Cannot be handwriting not nice then forever don't write me card right? At most I treat it as a boyboy to Mummy card lor. He got me this soft toy which I swear is the softest I've ever touched. We actually came across it together at this Motherly shop at Vivo. I was totally amazed by how huggable it was. But I never expect to actually own it cos I'm not a soft toy kinda person. But I do love it. Cos its sooooo nice to hug. But knowing me, it will most prob end up on the floor every morning, like my bolster does. Hehe.

Had dinner at Big O for Mou's birthday. Logcake with candles again, just like last year. And Spike D too, the one he ordered for the trio's bday in August. The other one we had was nicer. This logcake durian filling not rich enough. And this time, Cehuang is banned from cutting the cake. Hah.

Headed to Chevrons after that. Felt abit nostalgic cos I was at the exact same room, sitting at the exact same spot 2 days ago with the gang. I think I'm quite sick of Chevrons and KTV. Unless I have new songs to learn, sing and master. Haha.














I'm how tired, I didn't stay up just to do all these. But my hair take a little shorter than forever to dry now. Hehe, cos its so long already!!

'nyway, had a nice dinner and long KTV session with the gang. And gift exchange :) I've lost count of the number of xmas we have celebrated together. Remember once we exchanged gifts at this lil spot outside Wisma, once at Istana park (or is it the same year?), once over steamboat at Yu's place, last year at "Newton Chalet" over Chivas. And I can't think of more now lah. How we used to love go town and squeeze with crowds for count down or that sort. Alamak, now the thought of town on xmas/new year's eve is enough to make me faint.

Its nice to keep this tradition going. Nicer to see people's smiles. Of course exchanged by effort. It may sound corny, but sincerely, thanks for making it a success, guys!





















And as good as new. Repaired, reformatted, cleaned up. The screen has got no more finger prints. Just that the battery is still cui. I stupidly forgot to back up my spree excel sheet. Argh. Abit angry but forget it lah. Just abit more inconvenient but wouldn't die. Gonna start a new one with my next new spree. :D Should have backed up my Picasa and iTunes as well, but nvm, too late for complaints now. Just need to be less lazy and download them again. Then all my san-ba blog bookmarks gone also. :(

The Internet Explorer is the new and latest one that comes with tabs too. Abit Mozilla wanna-be but I kinda like it enough. So bye bye Mozilla for now. Lazy to download. Its the tab I want from Mozilla anyway. IE has it now, cool!

My old navy top is FINALLY here. Transferred $0.10 to her already. Wah lau, go through all the trouble, SMS OTP code and all that just to transfer 10cents. Abit dumb. But gotta understand lah. If she ignores all the 10cents, it will amount to alot.

Kinda freaked me out realising that I'll be a lonely soul, staying at home on Christmas Eve. So started chatting with Ivan and Huijie on MSN. To my horror, they are free and lonely on Christmas Eve as well. But talking to them makes me wanna puke blood. Ivan said he is free but Huijie insist that Ivan got something on. To the extent that Ivan needed enlightenment and we all ended the conversation in a "i give up" mood. Seriously cannot catch HJ's frequency at all leh. Somehow in the middle we started thinking of what to do already but he still ended up saying things like "Ivan got something on already." Really don't make sense at all lor that guy. Dunno what he is thinking about man.

Aiya, but come to think of it, it will be so sian to be out that night cos of the crowd and all that also. It will be best to slumb at someone's place over roasted turkey (chicken also can actually), snacks, drinks etc, watch some nice movie like 50 First Dates, Love Actually or something. I can make tiramisu! Hehe.

So people, missy here is looking for entertainment on Christmas Eve. Do send in your proposals through the cell phone soon k? Before I really puke bloood on that 2 old boys.

I saw someone's MSN nick saying something like "hope your legs can write xmas cards for you". I thought it was quite funny. Haha. But kinda true after a while. My hands are aching lah. Then somehow along the way the handwriting gets rather messy. BAH! Forgive me lah. Its the thoughts that counts. But at least I didn't use my legs. Luckily I bought rather small cards. If not knowing my lo-so personality, sure worse. Tsk tsk.

Using my lau ya pok Dell lappie now cos my IBM is with CIT. Its still ok lah. Just that I finally overcame the inertia and went to solve the clicking sound coming from the hard drive since almost a year ago just in case it gives up on me in the middle of the semester. Brought it down to IBM initially but the person refered me to go to the in house people at SMU instead cos it would be faster. Then he told me they will need my dock. BAHHH! So went home to take the stupid dock and went all the way back to SMU again. Poor lil dear dear drove me around in the heavy downpour. Drove and cut lane like never before. Even he admitted that it was dangerous after that. Raining tigers and lions somemore. Bleah. But thanks k, darling. I appreciate it, really! <3

So now I'm stuck with this lau ya pok for 2 days. :( And I stupidly did not back up my spree bookmarks. :S

I hope those people keep to the date they set man. So angry, cos was supposed to get my Jazzie baby last weekend but they delayed it till 26th. Then Christmas how?! Dear warned me of further delays. Although not in real need but by the time it comes, hols will be over already. :( So I'm now looking forward to Boxing Day and I hope they keep to the date!!!

He took half day leave tmr but is spending half of the half day to shop for my Christmas present. I find it quite funny lah. "I'm going out with Mou and Jinwei but I'm not even telling you where we are going." Ok lor, so secretive. I'm not even telling you when I bought/will buy your present. Hmmf! And he suggested that we take bus to town for movie and dinner in the late afternoon regardless of whether he can get the car. Its the first time this lazy bumster is suggesting that we take public transport to town. I'm serious! Go buy 4D if you want.

I'm so glad that the gathering with the gang and chanchos are falling in place rather nicely now. Aiyo. Its so hard to accomodate to everyone and try to make everyone happy and squeeze the best turnout. It gets even harder when some people cannot stand in people's shoes. Nvm, I'm just glad everything's ok now. The S82 gathering is bothering me quite abit now. Sigh. I don't even know how to go about doing it when I cannot even gauge the number. Then some people just have to piss me off by saying things like "wah, its the first time u are organising things hor". I was so pissed that I didn't even bother to reply. Its beyond the F you level. But then come to think of it, I should have replied "LIKE YOU HAVE LIKE THAT?!" Plain sickening.

It has been raining like it has never before. How to go Sentosa, Penny? Haha. I can't belive that I'm wearing my pullover at home with all windows shut. Rain makes me gloomy. Cannot wear nice shoes out somemore. :( Maybe I should start wearing pretty winter jackets to make myself happy! Hehe.
















Its Friday of the 2nd week of the December, means that about half the holidays is gone. Oh my mama! Thats damn fast man. Other than completing Goong, I haven't done much stuff planned.

I've been busy. But with nothing in particular actually.

Kinda hooked to Weffriddles all thanks to lil-girly. Haha. Read her blog at 3am and ended up sleeping at 5am after completing 13 levels. But couldn't survive most of them without hints from the forum. Although some made me even more confused. Give it a shot man! My personal hint for level 1 is: Its clearer on Internet Explorer. Mozilla works fine too if you are not cock-eyed at 3am. Hahaha. And due to my template, finding the link to the website might be a warm-up for the actual thing. I have a link somewhere. Look for it! It gets your engine warmed up before starting.

But I refuse to even start on level 14 tonight. Gotta go sleep soon. Disciplineeeeee. JB tmr! Wheeeeeeee. Lessy Wen, miss yaaaaaaaa!


















The sight of the 2 results ain't pleasing at all. Far from that. Now I know why I can't be a marathorner. Because I lose steam towards the end. Fuck. I screwed up my final paper like shit.

The past week has been rather packed. Reaching home pass 4am for 3 days in a working week and sleeping pass 3am everyday since the exams ended. Time at home had been occupied by 宫. Its so addictive. Whenever I see 信 puts down his ego and do sweet stuff to his 太子妃, my heart will melt. Wah, the way he stroke her face and hug her, I almost died lahhh. I love to see egoistic and cool man ahm chio and do unexpected sweet things. Just like 道明寺 and 杉菜 in 流星花园! HAHA. So sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet. And 太子妃娘娘 damn cute and funny lah!

Got back at 5 plus, after supper/breakfast actually. But staying up to give him a sweet morning call. Hee.


I bet if more people were there, we would turn the whole MSQ K Box upside down. For the sake of image, especially for our dear beauty queen, no unglam stuff here lah k.

The weekends has been pretty happening. Pictures galore to speak the words...

A lil chill out session at TCC after the oh-so-funny TWC paper on Sat. When the invigilator says "you may begin", all of us flipped the page and started chuckling. The whole seminar room of us. Super funny, I tell you. Cos we were basically stunned at the questions. It was a 2 hour paper. The first guy left at half an hour. People started laughing again. The invigilator was shocked. He told her he didn't know what to write. Before he left, he said "all the best, guys." Everyone laughed again. Damn funny. Tried damn hard to think of what to write. Eventually left half an hour before the time. Couldn't bother more. Just happy that its over! :D








Caught Happy Feet at MSQ with the darling and had a decent dinner after weeks of Kopitiam. The food at Changing Appetite wasn't fulfilling enough for the tastebud though. Happy Feet was pretty nice. Super cute and not just a meaningless cartoon. Quite meaningful in a way. I told him I want a penguin and he said I always wanted every animal I watch in the movies. Quite true. Haha. I told him I wanted the piglet (Wilbur) when I saw the Charlotte's web trailer too. Tsk. Cute mah. And as if I will really want it.

Shopped around at MSQ. Super deprived of real shopping. Everything seemed nice. And the boy is looking for ways to spend part of his bonus. Hahaha. Creative now having some Christmas student sale. Like, show your matric card and the 1GB Zen V only $109. Super cheap. But who says I'm gonna flash my matric card for you, huh huh huh? Haha. Dar, got web cam also leh!






Had SA alumni vs SA match this (Sunday) afternoon. The girls are having their annual camp. So fun. Brings back some fond memories of our camp as well. Amazing race, remember the titans, sleeping on tables, playing cards at night when we were supposed to be sleeping, naming princesses and of course the PE teacher who came and borrow eraser.

Too bad the turnout of alumni wasn't too good. But still, we had our own share of fun.


As expected, 5 minutes into the game we all felt like dying already. I didn't know Mr Bok didn't know I used to be a shooter. Kinda shocked him when I played GA (and played quite well). Hee. On form lah. The shots just came naturally and went in damn nicely. Even I shocked myself. But it died off after a while lah. Now he is asking me back to play shooter to pair Ade. I knew it would come. I knew I would be tempted to start training and playing competitive again once I have a game like that. Then its back to the dilemmas, time, commitment, willingness to put in the hard work blah blah again. Sigh. When can I seriously get out of this man. It seems like I'm always trapped in this vicious cycle dilemma shit. So its either I decide to make the move or wait for it to die down again. Perhaps the decision ain't that hard now since their trainings are on Tuesday nights starting at 7.30. Just so happen that tax class ends at 8.30 on Tuesdays. Well... But then again, there's a part of me that feels like playing lah. Hate this man.

I think my toenail bled cos I saw blood on my socks but I can't exactly figure out which part the blood came from. All I know is the big toe is black AGAIN! Just hope it doesn't drop. My backache is quite bad. Not that I always want to say that I am old. But all these just can't stop proving to me that I am not young anymore leh. And I'm quite sure my muscles will be aching after I wake up as well.







Anyway, HIPS met up after that. Rushed down from Potong to Vivo cos I thought I was late. But apparently wasn't the latest. Stupid HJ, still have the cheek to blame me for it. Dinner at Sushi Tei and ice cream at Ben&Jerry's. Wheeeeeeeee. Steph and I shared dublin mudslide and one other super chocolatey flavour which Steph chose. But I think the ice cream is making my cough worse. It was a lot better today actually but now it seems like its back to square one. :( Thats for being gluttonish.




Thats about all for my rather haps weekends. I can't believe that I stayed up this late to do all the pictures and blog this entry. How come I never seem to stay up so late to study one? Haha. Kinda random but I hope I can embark on my Goong soon. Its currently hijacked by my mum. She is occupying the DVD player and halfway through it. That means I can only start after she finish. BAHHHHHH!
