Killing Time
Shift don't sound fun to me. Feeling kinda quiet. Phone has been quiet the whole night. :( No one to nag at me or check on me. But on the plus side, off day tmr.
Was watching channel 8 and at about 9.25pm, I heard some girls scream from my block or nearby. Kinda scared me. Expected that the new Singapore Idol is out so I switched to channel 5. Yeah, I was right. Then, I realised that I didn't catch a single episode of Singapore Idols this season. I was a fan last season. What happened to me? Too old, too busy? Can't be bothered?
Anyway, the weekend that just passed was a weekend of celebrations. Fri night celebrated Rong's bday. I hope she enjoyed our session (I know you enjoyed your bday as a whole but hope you enjoyed OURS k. :)) Was the
Ahmad of the night. Yet nobody SMSed or call me to check or asked to call or SMS them if I was home safely. Even up til now, I still make sure Chan SMS me when he's home after sending me back. NVM, maybe just different standards of practice. At least I heard 4 thanks in total. DON'T EXPECT SO MUCH.
Sat celebrated Timo's bday. Think he enjoyed himself too. He so touched until he's gonna cry already. HAHA. Lots of cam whoring as seen below. Went to Jerry's BBQ and Grill at Club Street. Quite ulu but very quiet and peaceful. Food ok but a tad too ex I think. Cos not say fantastic.
I don't like to compare but over here I really can see and feel effort.
Sunday kinda celebrated a weird yet sweet occasion with him. Haha. Our one year after saying the first "hi" on MSN. Had dinner at Lemongrass (yum!) cos wanna use the UOB 30% which expires by end of the month. Looooove the Tom Yum Soup and the mango salad man! Damn nice! Gonna ask Ah Ma to make Mango Salad for me soon!
Digression: I think Tom Yum soup is addictive. Craved for it last week so went to Thai Express with HJ and Ivan. Then tuesday had Tom Yum
ban mian for dinner at BP plaza. Had the lemongrass yesterday then today I was craving for it again. Had dinner with Yin at Lot 1. Had the Kimchi Chige instead. Quite a good substitute. And believe it or not, my mouth is watering at the thought of it now!
Then headed to Waterfront. Wanted to go to "the bridge" we have been wanting to go for a long time. As usual, tried playing around with the camera settings to take pictures of nice background etc.
Indoor stadium looked like there were alot of ppl. There were still ppl queueing to go in when we arrived. Kept wondering whose concert. Then he mentioned ppl like Fei YuQing etc, when obviously the crowd was quite young. Listen too much Jay Chou already. Haha. Then we saw the Singapore Idols poster. Damn
suaku. We have been living in out own mountain all the while.
Chilled out at Cosy Bay. Sat on the tower. Didn't go all the way up cos abit lazy to climb. Haha. But very nice view.
lo-mantic kind. Except that once in a while can hear girls screaming from Indoor Stadium and the songs the place play also abit weird. Very friendly staff. Think I replied almost ten thousand (!) "hello" and "good evening" by the time I reached the tower. Should try dinner there next time. Price looks quite reasonable.
Yah, if you can tell, there wasn't much time to do work over the weekends. Sigh... Finance Quiz (5%) this wed and midterm(25%) next week. Audit midterm (15%) next week also. Don't even have space to put company law into consideration yet. Double sigh, triple sigh, quadruple sigh...
Then you will wonder why am I wasting time here. Cos the time is neither here nor there to do anything now. I'm waiting for a call to be activated. Haha. Our dear
ManShi (if you watch the show) turning 20 at 12. Hopping over for a surprise!
