Picking Up
The week is coming to an end. Phew. Its kind of fast paced, and getting faster.
Work has been quite busy. Its either business is picking up or we are under-staffed. I think its both. Endless cups to refill, orders to take, orders to serve, plates and bowls to clear, to wash, grills to change etc. Very busy. My middle finger kena
kiap by the very-heavy hot stone bowl while I was stacking them up. It was so painful I felt my nail was gonna drop off. But its still intact at the moment. Haha. Tendered my resignation on Monday to Paul. It was his first day at Chijmes after being transferred from UE. He was like, what kind of "hello gift" was that man. 31 July will be my last day. Will miss some of them I guess. Nicole asked me if I will miss her or her food. I will miss both I guess. Haha!
Asoc mock camp was quite shagged. Just realised that my games requires me to be in the water most of the time. Either swimming pool watching people pick mahjong tiles or in the sea calling out numbers for dog and bone with the slimy papaya. Cannot
siam getting wet one. But my *
EAV on the first day of camp. How? Guess most of my games have no major cock-ups. They somehow went like how I thought they would. Other than being hit on the tummy by the papaya. Of course I had to say I was okay at the moment and act strong. BUT IT WAS DAMN PAINFUL~! Imagine a guy (with that strength) throwing the papaya at you and hit you at your tummy. Very painful!
Went shopping for lessy Wen's present. Haven't seen her for so long, had quite a hard time. I liked the adidas jacket I got for her so much that I went back to get another one for myself. Hehe. Saw a few people which got me thinking that somehow, its kind of fate that you will bump into this person. Saw liz and yil at far east. Was supposed to take the stairs to the second floor at the entrance since I'm heading to the 3rd floor. But by mistake, I chose to take the stairs to the first floor instead. That's where I bumped into them. So if I went the correct way, I would not bump into them right? Then I saw sy outside taka square. *waves* penpal! Before that, I was queueing up for some food. But I decided that I should not spend unnecessarily after buying that jacket and go eat at my workplace since I'm going to work. So I left, and I met sy. If I continued to queue for my food, I might not have bumped into her right? Ok, nvm. Ignore me if you wish, just some thoughts.
Next week's gonna be busy as well with the last minute meetings, actual asoc camp, last week of work, tuition etc. Somehow, I feel happier like that. To be kept busy with activities. I feel more refreshed after sleeping. Not the kind of tired and lazy feeling even though I have slept alot.
I'm feeling a little unappreciated by a friend today. Maybe I'm sensitive. nvm.
Till then.
