The weekend which felt more like a work week
Bear with me. I have alot of things to talk about for this weekend.
The long weekend started on
Friday evening, after tuition. Went to Causeway Point for Daisy. Action pack Korean show. Finally. No more lovey dovey cliche plots. Pretty good show. I love the lead actor. Don't know his name though. I realised that I grew a liking for men with stubby facial hair. Hmm. Oh well. Then he came over to my place. Supposedly to help me decorate the cake box for Yin's cake. But I ended up drawing every inch of it. A blessing in disguise actually. Hah! How can I trust him doing decors, right?
Started the
Saturday kinda early. Breakfast at163 at aunt's beehoon stall, then to NTUC to shop for the cheesecake materials. Baking cheesecake for my darling ShiYin with my darling. haha. He wanna help out. Can you believe it? Ok lah, he crushed the cookie base and crack some of the eggs. Not bad, hor?
The baking took us the entire afternoon. Rushed to bathe and doll up to meet the gang for Sakura buffet. He sent me there while he bring home the cake to keep and chill. Cos the cake is supposed to be a surprise for Yin. =D But that girl couldn't resist the cheesecake at Sakura. My goodness. I can't find any excuse to stop her.
Walked to Chevrons from Omni Theatre after that. Yeah, quite a distance. But it seem kinda short when we started chatting and stuff. Me and Yin started talking about chinese names. What's nice and what's not. Can't remember how we started. But it felt like one of us is gonna give birth soon and we are thinking of the baby's name. Haha!
Didn't really sing much at that night. I just can't let loose to enjoy. Kept looking at the watch. Time seemed to pass so slowly towards 12 midnight. Kept thinking of how the whole thing will turn out. And also, I kept being interrupted when I was singing. Sang halfway when dear called me at 1145 to go get the cake from the car. Grr. Then after that sang halfway again, they started paying me for the bill and stuff. Kao.
But anyway, we brought the cake up to Aviary, light up the candles outside then brought the cake in at about 12. Me holding the cake, Yu helping to bring in the other stuff and dear with the camera trying to snap shots of the birthday girl's expression. Everything went quite well. Yin was touched. Hee. Which made me happy too. :) She liked the present. Which was a relief. And it fitted her so well.
Then on
Sunday, we set the day aside to shop for Mother's Day presents and to have a mini celebration for our 4th '8th day of the month'. Went to town. Got Gucci Envy Me for his mum and a Body Shop Gift set for his Godma. As for my mum, her present will be a dinner this weekend cos she said she didn't want gifts. And I got myself the promotional bra set from Une Nana Cool. Bought from Zhen. Contributed to her sales. Hah!
Then the couple headed to Changi for our dinner by the sea under the lovely sunset. :) Since the night was still young, we caught MI3 which was great. Tom Cruise is damn hot.
The weekend is lengthened by the coincidence that
Monday was a holiday for him and Asoc Games Com meeting can postponed. Spent almost the entire day of our 4th month with his family. Had an advanced Mother's Day meal with his family at Wen Yan Lou in the afternoon. Great food. Then shopped for cheesecake material (again!) cos his mum wanna learn my cheesecake after eating it. Hee. So proud of myself. So went to their place and taught her. Then I went for tuition, which was a hop away. Then back to his place for dinner.
I think I overate or what. I felt very unwell after dinner. Puked when I reached home. And the feeling is back again. I hate that nausea feeling. Decided not to work tomorrow and have a good rest. I haven't had a proper day off to slack and bum around at home, to go swim, jog or visit the gym since I started work for FHA. And I don't understand why it is so. It is not as if I'm tight with money or what. I'm still getting allowance on the first of every month.
All in all, I had a great weekend. Sorry if the great don't really sound convincing. Cos after clicking the orange button, I'm gonna go toilet to try to force it out again.
