I feel like a fool
Scene 1: Tuesday night at home
Bro complaining that his MS word is sot. It hangs whenever he copy and paste something from the net.
Scene 2: Wednesday afternoon, after work.
A very familiar number SMSed me "Hey. Can I borrow your laptop?" I don't have all my contacts already, remember? So I thought it was my bro. Cos the number looks damn familiar. I thought he needed to do PW stuff urgently and his MS word still giving him problems. So I replied "password: ****" and saved the number under the name "Padro".
Then after a while, I realised that he may want to bring it out for project meeting so I SMS him "your borrow means use at home or bring out?" cos I need to let him know that my battery can't last very long. Then he replied "bring out. but now no need already. Thanks."
I was still so shocked that my bro actually said thanks. Haha.
Scene 3: Wednesday night, at home.
I asked bro if his MS word ok already. He said "yah, ok already" So it actually explains why he said "no need already" right? Then I told him that my laptop battery cannot last long, so if he wants to bring out must bring the adaptor. He just laughed and didn't say anything else.
Scene 4: Thursday afternoon, alone at home.
Ahma called. She asked me to go down tomorrow and we go out for dinner with 姑姑 and they all. She didn't say its for her birthday. But I know it is. Then she asked me to ask didi to go. And asked me to bring my bf along.
So I SMSed Chan to ask him if he can go, can get car etc. And cos I dunno if tonight after I come back from work, will bro still be awake or will I forget to tell him, so I decided to SMS him. "Tmr ahma's bday. Gg for dinner. Can you be home by 5plus?" and sent it to "Padro".
Then "Padro" replied "u miss me arh?"
I was damn puzzled. At first I thought his friend trying to play prank. But I was still puzzled. So I checked the number. And suddenly Huijie's face appeared in my head.
AHH! That was Huijie's number and not Padro's number. I felt so silly. Their number really quite similar. And don't you think the scenerio was such a coincidence?
Ok, but I feel so silly now.
