Haven't had the energy to blog for the past few days. Was working for Food and Hotel Asia (FHA) exhibition at Expo for the past 4 days.

One word :TIRING! Had to stand for almost the entire day (9-6). I learnt to appreciate the toilet bowl. Cos that was the only readily available seat which I could find other than table tops and stuff.

But we had we our own share of fun. Basically the perm staff of the company (Win Sin) I was working for were quite nice and fun. The other 9 temp promoters were fun to be with as well. Of course different personalities like the bimbos, the reserved ones, but generally ok. All in the same age range.

Basically from this exhibition, I learnt to be more daring and aunty-ish on the MRT. Standing all the way to Expo or from Expo back is no joke ok. Especially when you have been standing for the whole day. Haha. And someone told me wheat makes blood type B fat. And I should avoid chicken as well. Woah. Dunno whether to believe that aunty anot.

It was a trade show, not the usual food fair kinda thing. But withing the booths, we had our own 'trading' which was quite fun. Muffins in exchange for juices and stuff like that. Win Sin is a distributor for the bakery products. So we had breads, muffins, pastry, butter, liquid eggs, chocs deco, jams for pastry and stuff like that. So its understandable that I'm sick of all these stuff already.

Nothing much actually. But it was an eye opener for me. And definitely some take aways and lessons. (Other than the MRT crap)



[It sounds cliche, but someone has really been my support, motivator throughout the 4 draining days, keeping me positive and stuff. Sorry for the insensitive comment on wed. Sorry for the break down on thur. Like I've said, if you sounded like a fool that day, you must be the sweetest fool on earth =D]


Sidenote: The breakdown on thurs was one of the worst. PMS depression + fatigue + result. I really did very badly for MA. Really badly. And its not just bad to my own expectation. Its really bad BAD. But PLEASE don't ask. Please don't ask how bad. Please don't ask what happened. Just don't ask anything. I'll be fine. I'll work harder. I know what I have to do. I know what went wrong.








My boy bought me flowers. No occasion, no reason. So 浪费钱 but super sweet lah. Hee. Lovely surprise.

A very rewarding weekend for us. Movie, great food, shopping, KTV etc.

Had a long day.
Appointment with Geraldine at Silkcut at 12. They were very nice. My styling was FOC. Know them so well now that I feel very comfortable sitting there for 3 hours. Colour and treatment. :) Really like their service. Very personal. Geraldine even mentioned to HJ that I went yesterday when HJ went down today. Small gestures but means alot. I only went down tgr with HJ once or twice for this 2 years plus yet she remembers we are friends.

Make up at Anna Sui with Yiling and Liz. Slipped my mind that Em is working there. Thankfully she was on her shift. Gave me very personal service too! :) Had FOC pretty manicure all thanks to my sweet prom queen junior! :))

The food for the evening was good. Tung Lok Noble House. Second time of the year I went there. Think the food this time was better than Den's dinner. Yet I think Den's dinner costs more.

It really feels like prom. All the "can't wait to take photos". Hah. But you know what. The person I forgot to take photo with was with me since 5pm to at least 2am and was sitting beside me throughout the entire dinner. Yiling, did you realise? How could we.

Chilling and drinking at Dickson's place afterwhich. The circle of death can make you drink quite alot if you are careless and unlucky. I was neither. Heh heh.

All in all the night was great. SMU SOA freshies-no-more made it happen.

When you were 16, I bet there wasn't so much politics. I bet things were much simpler. I bet friendship was more easily definable.

Don't you think so?

Did you used to think that you will grow old with the people you grow up with? And that your children will grow up together and be friends too? I did. Is it (still) possible?

Maybe I should just hope that they still remember me despite growing old. Because people do change, hor? I bet 5 years ago, you didn't expect some people to be like how they are. So we can't tell how people are going to change in 5 years time too, right?

On the other hand, instead of pointing fingers, maybe we should take a step back to reflect on ourselves. How much different have I been, compared to the good old times?

I'm going to see BABY!!!!!!

So exciting.

My 二舅母 gave birth less than an hour ago. The little baby girl's 大姑姑, after calling several people to announce the news is now getting ready to visit her little niece. Guess the big sister gotta go get ready too.







From the topic of Gala dinner to Prom. Made me click on some classmate to ask for prom photos and ended up in a mini chat. Then it prompted me to view the video Uncle did for us for farewell assembly with the intention to make us cry. Kinda miss the class leh. Maybe we should have a gathering soon hor?







Well, my long awaited long weekend immediately after the exams hasn't been too happening. I'm nuaing at home for the third consecutive afternoon. And for the past 2 days, I was slacking with anticipation which in turn brought me disappoinment.

Fri's night cycling was screwed. As usual, because of sucky expected turn out. What pissed me off was that I would have plans for the day not for the scheduled, highly anticipated night cycling. And what made it worse was that because the guys were feeling bad for pissing Yin off, they tried to get us out. And being the wishy washy them, we wasted the whole afternoon waiting for them to decide what to do. And what pissed me off AGAIN was that they agreed to call me after they decided which part of BPP to have dinner so that I can look for them. And when Yin called (cos she was late), she told me the boys were eating already. Not for Yin, I would just watch Holland V at home and ignore them. Not like I needed the dinner anyway. But the day ended off well at Essential Brew with dear and his friends laughing at their stupid acts. Stories of sec school days which (thankfully) I can relate to.

Sat's afternoon was spent rotting as well. Because I reserved the day to spend with him. But it turned out that he only wanted to go out after dinner. So I had to kill my afternoon while that pig caught up with his lost sleep for his soccer tournie in the morning. Thankfully Xue came over. We watched the lame "Vietnamese Bride" by Henry Thia and Lena Ng lying side by side on the sofa. Such a coincidence that Xue was in Vietnamese suit. Afterwhich, brought the little girl for Venesia and shopped around BPP. Machiam my daughter.



Caught a Korean show "The Art for Seduction" at Causeway point after dinner at his place. Rather witty show. Not for those who wants depth though. But its quite a good laugh. And good looking lead roles too.

And here I am rotting again. Xue is here too. We watched half of "Incredibles" before her butt grew needles. I gave up watching as well. I'm deciding if I should bring her out again. Because I will most probably be buying things for her which are not very useful but I dunno how to reject her.








Dinner before that. Looks very yummy right? BUT its not by me! Haha. Can't be by him either. Credits to his mama.

Nothing much. I can archieve LGST101 Business Law as well.

Paper today was do-able. Only trick is to write whatever is needed and you want in 2 hours 15 mins. I'm glad I finished it (to my own expectation). Just hoping for the best and try to ignore the sucky midterm grade.

But you know what? Its holidays!! No offence to all the NTU and NUS out there. Jiayou man! It will be over soon. Reeeaaaal soon. Tsk.

BTW, I realised something. Before I continue, don't ask me why I bothered to count. I just did. I do bo liao stuff quite often. Today I'm 20 years old minus (2 months and 1 day). My mum gave birth to me when she was this old. Haha! And I was just thinking how can I be a mother now. I just cannot figure out. Can you imagine ME carrying a baby and taking care of him/her now! In a year's time hear him/her call me Mummy. Damn, its freaky. I guess education stifles our growth and makes us mature later. Maybe? Maybe. I'm still a teenager man!

Super bloated from the Tung Lok buffet. So much for trying to slim down the past 2 weeks. =/

I'm so glad for this long weekend. Although everyday can be a weekend for the next few months. There is a difference when someone is staying in. hor?







I will be able to archive my last set of notes left lying on the table. How great.
