Technology and Kids
Xue is over at my place and is playing 3D Pinball on the Dell lappie. She knows how to launch the ball, try to keep the ball "safe" and even knows how to press F2 for a new game when she realised "no more balls" (aka Game Over).
How smart can children get? I only need to teach her ONCE and she sits there staring the screen, hitting heavily at the keyboard, disturbing no one, ocassionally popping her head up for the TV screen. Multi-task somemore.
What games did we play when we were 4 or 5? Definitely not 3D pinball on a laptop.
She can even teach gu-gu how to play now.
Xue, can you teach gu-gu that she should not use the slow cooker to cook porridge when she only started at 7plus? Because Peggen jiejie is starving now.
Not for the fact that she cooks once is such a long loooonnng while, I wouldn't give her face. Would have went down to da bao already.
I'm hungry. ROAR!
