Very nice right??

This is by far the most interesting lesson I ever have in SMU. Made to sing a song, a little bit of lesson, visit to Art Museum, doing this art piece in groups. Everything in 3hours. How nice. Haha. When was the last time I touched poster colour and crayon. Heh. Fun fun fun. Very good way of destress.

Had a very nice lunch at TCC celebrating Yiling's birthday. I didn't realise how much I actually missed their company. So envious that they still get to see one another so often.


Once again, Happy 20th Yiling! 2 big candles on the "Swissotel" *cough* cake.








If my cell-wrecking days always conclude in this way. I wouldn't mind having them. Tsk.

Xue is over at my place and is playing 3D Pinball on the Dell lappie. She knows how to launch the ball, try to keep the ball "safe" and even knows how to press F2 for a new game when she realised "no more balls" (aka Game Over).

How smart can children get? I only need to teach her ONCE and she sits there staring the screen, hitting heavily at the keyboard, disturbing no one, ocassionally popping her head up for the TV screen. Multi-task somemore.

What games did we play when we were 4 or 5? Definitely not 3D pinball on a laptop.

She can even teach gu-gu how to play now.

Xue, can you teach gu-gu that she should not use the slow cooker to cook porridge when she only started at 7plus? Because Peggen jiejie is starving now.

Not for the fact that she cooks once is such a long loooonnng while, I wouldn't give her face. Would have went down to da bao already.

G - Force

They already have a fan club even before Project Superband is being screened.

Guess Nah don't really need much of our support considering the huge fan base they gonna have. Will Nah-Nah-Mon be part of the fan club? Haha.

They are from MDC. Not everyone there is GAY. At least I know Jeremy Nah isn't and I don't think he will ever be.

Jeremy Nah is a fellow Gemini who believes in horoscope (very rare for a guy). the clown of 03S82. The one who entertains us (sometimes too much). A fellow makan-slack-chill S82 khaki. SA heart-throb (i guess?). Always damn fun to have him around. If Ben Eio looks familiar, he took part in Singapore Idols before. The one who used to be part of Echo boys. The other guy, I don't know him. Just that he has the surname as me. You qian tu. Muahaha.

I found my warranty card. Call me blur, call me smart, whatever.

I went to look for it at the place I kept my laptop warranty and stuff. But it wasn't there.

BUT.

A little greyish-silver book among my other books on my book shelf caught my attention because I don't remember having that.

I pulled it out. And its the 3230 user manual. Cool. I flipped it open and the warranty card was there! Amazing.

I was actually so smart to keep the important stuff when I decided to throw the box.

I suddenly had a little illusion that I saw this before.

Was on the way home along that damn road I got so many demerit points from during my first TP, talking about Beng's 21st before that and it got me thinking of what to buy for her and just suddenly, *ding* an image of this came to mind. I turned to the driver and asked him if it did really happen. He wasn't very sure too. So I reached home and digged up all my cards I received before and yeah, I found this. Haha.

My 15th birthday. That was like almost 5 years ago. Amazing.

Although I bet all he did was just to chip in the money but still...

Isn't it amazing how fate plays with people?







My phone died on me.

Damn damn pissed.

Its less than year old only leh!!

The worst thing: I CANT FIND MY BLOODY WARRANTY CARD.
Must have thought it was junk and threw it away during spring cleaning.

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHH.

There goes my $300 worth of trade in.

And most of my contacts.

It died the same way as my bro's.

Damn it.

I'm boycotting Nokia.

Pissed.

HJ, sitting beside me, bent behind to take his bag. And I assume, after seeing the BAH flowing out below my top and above my jeans went:

"Peg! Are you 60 now?"

"NO! I just weigh myself yesterday ok?"

"Then what? 59.9?"

After a few moments, I started scolding him.

"Where got people so insensitive about a girl's weight and ask them like that one? Only you do that to me ok. And only you, I will say it out like that."

And he gave me that stupid smile.

"So your dinner how? Who are you going to ask to be your date?"

"Dunno yet leh. Haven't go and think."

"Ask me lah, I'm free. Hee"

"You ah... Maybe lor. That will be my last resort lah."

And not forgetting, for his previous dinner, he told me and Steph that he would rather bring Ivan. What an ass.

Thats all I can remember. And for some reason or another, he insists that I cannot get D600. Because he is going to get it and he doesn't want to use the same phone as me. WTH man. And now, all the more I want to get it.

Damn childish, I know. I kept telling him not to be so childish and stop bullying me too. For he is 21 (an adult) and I'm still 19 (a teenager).

The funniest thing that happened this evening was when we (Huijie, Weiqi, Ivan) were looking for a chill out place after Steph left and while waiting for Nah. We decided to try Balcony. I've been wanting to try their outdoor seats and was hence very excited. Initially they didn't want to sit there. But in the end, we didn't have a choice cos the place was quite full. So the waitress asked us if we wanted to take those seats.

And WeiQi went, "Do those seats have any weight limit?"

3 of us broke out in loud laughter.

The waitress smiled at him and replied, "No, so far nobody had any problem with that."

"You sure huh? So later if I break the chair you all cannot ask me to compensate leh."

WTH. I cant stop laughing man.

And here's a picture of the 90plus kg sitting very uneasily. The balcony seats are tested and is safe for people whose weight is double-digit. Heh.

But in the end, we didn't order anything there. Headed to NYDC instead.

Met the don't-use-to-be-so-niang HuiYan earlier in the evening coincidentally. And she insisted that we take some pics since its so nan de we see one another.

Steph stands at 1.68m and is considered above average for Singaporean girls. But look at this:

I was just about to settle down to start reading for BGS when The Soft Hearted Woman came and told me about what happened to The Thick Skinned Man. I can't concentrate now. No one told me anything yet.

Apparently The Thick Skinned Man's partner wanna pull out of their partnership for the new place because of some disputes and he had to burden all the finances now. So he called up The Soft Hearted Woman and asked her if she wanna partner him. The Soft Hearted Woman does not have the finances to do so because the amount is not small. So he then asked her if she had money to lend him tide over this. And The Soft Hearted Woman is prepared to take out whatever amount she can to help him. And apparently, this is not the first time The Soft Hearted Woman is lending him money to tide through crisis.

How noble can women be. And how unashamed of himself can men be. I am so proud of her and I am so ashamed of him. I really wonder what is deep in the The Soft Hearted Woman's heart when she talks about how spendthrift The Thick Skinned Man is when he is cash rich, buy new car, date girls etc but at the end of the day, The Soft Hearted Woman is the one who never leave The Thick Skinned Man is lurch. Never!

When will the The Thick Skinned Man learn his lesson? Learn his lesson that not everyday is Sunday and he needs to remind himself that rainy days will come even if the sun is shining super brightly now. Learn his lesson of controlling his temper. Working with friends is so different from working with your father who will always tolerate your nonsensical temper.

After the tears and heartbreak more than a decade ago, The Soft Hearted Woman still never fail to stretch out her helping hand to the The Thick Skinned Man. And The Thick Skinned Man still has the cheek to ask The Soft Hearted Woman for help. Where are all his other women? Where?

On one hand, I feel so proud of her. On the other hand, I feel so unjustified for her.

Yeah. Its 14 Feb. 4 more months and I'll hit the big 2. But thats beside the point. Its Valentine's Day.

Ade just reminded me of how fun Valentine's Day was back in SA.

During first 3 months in J1, the entire cafe was so re nao with mostly newly-found-J1-friends. People were teasing one another about their new crushes. Yf had V, the rosy cheek councillor, Steph had A, her primary school friend who so coincidentally became her classmate again (the only pair who did get together) and I had E, an OG mate who turned out to be someone's primary school good friend. Small worlds. Haha. So funny. And I just met E a few days ago at HJ's 21st party wearing a nice tee. Haha. Those stupid times.
Remember Yf bought me and Steph a balloon each from SC and instead of writing sweet friendship messages, she wrote things like "Can you be my date?" and sign off as "secret admirer". Full of shit. But damn fun. My OG was so close. Most people had small gifts for one another. Little things from Ikea, cookies etc. So nice.
And we sold flowers in the evening. So tiring and so envious of happy couples but very good bonding sessions for 3 of us.

Then in J2, the close group of friends became s82 and the netballers. I remember baking cookies for the whole of s82 and teachers, the netballers, Mr Teh and the teachers and some of my other friends. Thats about more than 40? Spent the entire evening baking it, wrapping one by one using the Ikea nice serviettes. So tiring but seeing everyone (i guess) enjoying your cookie and praising you for it just made everything worthwhile. =D
That year the friendship bond was stronger and it was more meaningful. Maybe later I should go dig up some cards and stuff received. Heh.

Those were the fun fun days where Valentine's Day can really be translated to Friendship Day.

Anyway, I had a nice and sweet advance Valentine's Day already. Today I shall be a good girl and mug.

I don't understand.

But well, considering the fact that she knows how to appreciate my skills by singing praises of my cookie, she is forgiven. Tsk.

And regarding Padro's results. I'm glad he did decently well but not better than me. Haha. I know, what a selfish sister. But that idiot got A1 for combined humanities. How can that be possible?! But he CLAIMS he always get A1 during school days. Whatever!

I'm not able to contact my tutee. I don't even know if he did fly here to collect his result.

Oh well, I'm so looking forward to the rest of the day.
