Fickle-minded
And its not me.
Its my dear Ah Ma.
First, she suggested that 2 of us go for a short holiday. Somewhere near like Genting, Vietnam, Bangkok. I said ok, I'd love a short getaway and to spend some time with her. So she asked me to decide.
Then, she saw some great deals to Shanghai and told me about it excitedly. Asked me when my school starts cos the deal, for some reason, is only valid on the week after christmas. I said should be ok cos I would come back just in time for the term. It got me quite enthu about Shanghai already. I asked her how will the weather be like and she told me it should be ok. She likes cool weather BTW.
Then, she called half an hour later to tell me that we shouldn't go. Cos that period of time will be too too cold. I said ok lor. But in my heart I was "i ask you just now u said ok. now you got me so enthu for it." But you know, as people age, their tolerance for cold weather would change. So, nvm, Shanghai another time then.
So, she asked me to check out budget airlines to Bangkok. Say that we just go Bangkok lah. Shanghai another time.
I checked up Tiger Airways and the price shocked me so I told her that budget airlines not cheap. Then she said like that don't want lah. Since got Avian flu. Gong Gong say don't go. We go somewhere further during my summer holidays. And I said ok once again. Cos I'm not that gian since I went Bangkok twice this year already. And somewhere further sounds good.
Then a few days ago, she called and asked me if I wanna go cruise with her younger sister and don't know who else. I said I don't want cos I got no company and it'll be damn sian. Then she said ok lor. We go somewhere else next time. And told me if I wanna go anywhere with my friends, she's willing to sponsor me. (I know that my Ah Ma is damn nice. =D )
THEN, just now, she called me to tell me that Gong Gong says got a certain budget airline got some promotion. And suggested we got Bangkok. !!!
AH MA, MAKE UP YOUR MIND!
So, since she's so fickle, I shall decide. We are going Bangkok.
YES, we're going Bangkok.
I'm going to call her tomorrow and tell her we are going Bangkok.
Althought the JetStarAsia promotion is to book by 13 December and travel only during Jan-June06, its not too ex to book now for Decemeber too.
So, Ah Ma, we are going Bangkok.

And since I'm going Bangkok, if you wanna pass me your shopping list, you can do so. BUT! Please don't be like Yenfang. Tell me to just buy 2 pieces of whatever I buy. And PLEASE! I'm going with my Ah Ma. Don't make me comb the entire chatuchak to help you find something.
In case you are damn stunned that I'm going Bangkok shopping with my Ah Ma, FYI, she is only 60 years old this year. Yes, 60. And the next question will be how old are my folks right? My mum is 39 and my dad is 41. Yes, I know. Very young. And don't try to tell me that its time for me to have children to follow the family trend. Try something new, that is too cliche.
(And in case you don't know how old I am, I'm 19)
Side note: Have been a chao mugger mugging in school til library plays closing time, chase us out, and we still go look for rooms at SOA to continue mugging for the past few days. Gav was saying that at this rate we are mugging, if we don't get an A for FA, we should go kill ourselves. I don't know why but I am not that confident. *shrugs* I'm just doing my best so that even if I don't do well, I have got no one and nothing to blame. But of course I hope it pays off.
Can't wait to get it over and done with. List of activities waiting for me.
Friday after paper - visit Silkcut for a new hair colour!! =) Don't worry, it wouldn't be drastic. And maybe meeting Mel for dinner after that.
Saturday - second uncle's wedding. Can dress up nice nice. =)) No time to shop so going to wear my prom dress. Muahaha. Made mum go buy hers cos I wanna wear MINE! Before that she told me she's going to wear mine if she can't find nice ones. I told her I wanna wear that if I can't find better ones too. And since I got no time to even scout, she is buying. Hee!
Sunday - K-ster with da gang!
Monday - wakeboarding!! Feeling fat now though =( Haha. Some suggetions were that we should just stand the whole day, don't sit down at all and suck in our tummies or put on the life jacket the whole day and not remove it at all. Hah! Abit lame but haha, lets just have fun and reward oursleves for being such chao muggers for this week.
And of course, not forgetting, I'm going to Bangkok! Hah.
